Cookie notices are often long and hard to follow. This one is short because there is very little to say. Nosentrik Health Blog does not use tracking cookies, analytics tools or advertising technology. The only thing stored is your answer to the banner you see on your first visit.
Last updated: October 2026.
What is stored and where
When you click accept or decline on our banner, the site writes a small entry to your browser's local storage. Local storage works much like a cookie: it is a little space in your browser that a website can use to remember a setting. Our entry contains your choice and nothing else.
| Stored entry | Job it does | Location | Kept until |
|---|---|---|---|
| Banner choice | Stops the notice reappearing on every page | Local storage in your own browser | You delete it |
The entry is not sent to our servers, is not shared with anyone and cannot be used to identify you or follow you to other websites.
What we do not use
- No analytics or visitor statistics cookies
- No advertising or remarketing cookies
- No cookies placed by share buttons, embedded posts or social feeds
- No fingerprinting or other ways of recognising returning readers
Does declining change anything?
Not in how the library works. Every article, page and section reads exactly the same whichever button you press. Because the site has no optional tracking in the first place, declining simply records that you said no.
Changing your mind
Want to answer the banner again? Delete the saved data for nosentrik.com from your browser. In most browsers this sits under privacy or site settings, where you can remove data for a single website without affecting others. The banner will appear again on your next visit, and you can answer afresh.
Server logs are separate
Our hosting provider keeps short-lived technical logs when pages are requested. Those are not cookies and nothing is stored on your device for them. They are described on Privacy & Data, together with your rights over personal data.
